Ho ho ho Creative Sunday lovers,
A bit before the December craziness, we organized the thirteenth Creative Sunday at The Yogurt Farm, a nice and cozy place in Ixelles. There is wood everywhere and even a big cow hanging from the ceiling. This farm atmosphere was perfect to spend some time learning how to do our hair differently, discovering great recipes for healthy dips and creating a bird garland in origami. Thank you Take Eat Easy for finding this perfect winter place!
We enjoyed a buffet made of yogurts from the Yogurt Farm. There were the salty ones with beet or cucumber and the sweet ones with granola and fruits. There were so many possibilities of mix that we spent the afternoon trying to test each one of them (greek yogurt, plain yogurt, etc.). Axel, from the Yogurt Farm, had introduced his products at the beginning. We served tea and also the delicious and natural juices Full of Good.
The Yogurt Farm is very well-decorated and cosy. We didn’t need much to create a nice atmosphere. So we placed holidays decoration items from there to there and decorated the tables according to the workshops. Thanks to SelfPackaging we had beautiful pine trees and reindeer in cardboard. But what was clearly the best from them was the cardboard “Creative Sunday” that we placed on the top of the buffet! A big thank you!
In a few minutes, the place was full of girls meeting and talking. As always, they were all relax and smiling. We had a CheeseBOX that was a very good ice-breaker at the beginning of the afternoon before becoming the attraction in between workshops.
*Cooking workshop with The Healthy Factory*
Behind The Healthy Factory, there are two young women: Stéphanie and Virginie, both interested in eating healthier and sharing their tips and tricks. They came with a very nice idea for the holiday season: healthy dips. Participants discovered how to serve carrots, fish and beets as a pre-dinner. *Beauty workshop with On s’emmêle*
Aude, from On s’emmêle, loves to do her friends’ hair! Step by step, she started to do everyone’s hair and organizes evenings to share her ideas. She had two great hairdos to teach to our participants. They learned how to make a braid and a simple buns to do everyday or for a special occasion. *DIY workshop with Bilpaper*
Céline, from Bilpaper, is a creative graphic designer and architect. She can do various things but loves graphic patterns and origami. She imagined a workshop to learn how to make a garland of birds. The result is beautiful! It can be hanged in a child bedroom of in a Christmas tree. Participants had to choose eight sheets of paper, eight times the same or different kinds, in order to make eight birds in origami. Céline had thought about every detail such as the needle and the thread (the thread was already in the needle, ready to be used, can you imagine this?) and the box in which the girls could place their garland to bring it back home safely. We saw many birds that day and all with different colors and patterns. We have even received one that is now hanging in a Christmas tree.
This goodies bag was full of great gifts! There was a little pot of caramel with salted butter, a key holder, a bracelet, some tea, a regenerating balm, some nuts for a snack, a box for presents and a magazine.
