On the last Sunday of June, no matter the rain outside, it was summer time during the fifth Creative Sunday at Fork! Our West Coast theme brought us in the middle of California for an afternoon. Popsicles, bottles of Coke, lined straws, colorful fruits, … We could feel the sun on our skins!
Today, let’s discover the pictures of the last Creative Sunday. This 4th edition (yes, 4th! We are already working on the 5th edition. We can’t believe how fast this goes!) was at Les Midinettes, a “café-couture” (a sewing café) in the colourful Matongé area in Brussels.
As always, we were pretty excited to set up a floral decoration for this Spring edition.
What were you doing last weekend? At HowTo, we were embroidering notebooks with DIYers like you at Retrorama!
The technique is very simple. In fact, we already explained it here last year. But thanks to our workshop at Retrorama, we have new examples and new pictures to explain it again. Plus, we offer a grid and patterns to upload! (See the end of this post for our PDF)
So… How do we embroid a notebook cover? Follow the steps!
Are you into vintage too? At HowTo, we love it. As a consequence, we are quite excited to tell you that we’ll be part of Retrorama.
